Crowds on a balmy night are to be expected. I expect the rest of the nights to be better managed. But a many only have themselves to blame.Doing dumb things like: Drivers queueing all the way back up Rolleston Ave and Park Terrace, hoping for a park to magically appear. Really? Lots of people and car = No parks down there!!! But: there are lots of (shock/horror) Parking Buildings (1st hour free on Lichfield)!

What anyone with the Lime app can do is go find these scooters in these off street places and report them to Lime as stolen (in the app). There is currently 1 scooter well within the school grounds at present (it shows on the app so, this is clearly meant to be available for use)There are several over the line (in the school property?) between the bus stop and the school gate. They are either against the wall on the footpath or behind that wall.Given that it is 4:40 Monday afternoon, tha6t seems a funny time to be in the school

That is a breach of Limes user agreement. That means that every user (e.g the registered user who validates that they are over 18), is in breach of those rules. What is Lime goring to do now I wonder?BTW: I know that this is not the only horder, there were 2 in the office carpark of the local radio station the other day.

No they have not been vetted. They turned up in a boat of Australia, so got sent to Nauru. They stay there or get sent to where they came from, regardless.I get that they should not be allowed top queue jump.Note: Australia takes a hell of a lot more refugees (through UN channels) as a percentage of their population than NZ and most other countries. It also has one of the highest percentage of immigrants in the world.

Night drivingWhen to use headlightsYou must turn on your vehicles headlights:* from 30 minutes after sunset on one day, until 30 minutes before sunrise on the next day* at any other time when you cant clearly see a person or vehicle 100 metres away.Never drive with just the park lights on. (Note: park lights are now referred to as position lights.)This prohibits just the park lights on in the 2 conditions when you must have your headlights light on.It does not prohibit driving with your park (position) lights on outside these conditions. (However, Im and all on/all off kind of guy)

I am puzzled,When my children went to primary school, Bible In Schools was done early one weekday morning (monthly?)It was voluntary, children were taken out of it by parent choice, and it was not part of the school teaching day.The program was taught by volunteers that were required to follow the agreed program (I believe by the Churches Education Commission)It seems to me that schools have dropped the ball with certain school boards pushing their own agenda and certain voluntary teachers have pushed their own believes ahead of a relatively neutral program.Of course the program must be voluntary with informed consent by the parents and there should be a valid alternative program offered.

In every society, to a small or large degree, there are those that will prosecute others for not following their way. That nominally christian societies have done this does not make christianity evil. It is however a failure of christian belief to change those intolerant haters. You may have noticed one hell of a lot of haters are coming out of the woodwork of late. Most are not christians (but a hell of a lot, sadly, do claim to be)

What are you talking about? What do you mean by; put there buildings back in Dunedin?Yea, Christchurch (and Canterbury) has a larger population base, so larger hospitals. Also, Christ Church has services Dunedin does not have (as Dunedin has services Christchurch does not have)

who said it was over 100 years old?Mr Putticks memory suggests it is at lest 75 years old ( so WW2?)the variety of memorial tree shapes and sizes up the Waitaki valley suggests this tree could be as old as those ( apparently planted in the 1920s)

Calling it treason is way over the top (were not mericans). But it would be offensive to many and should be illegal (minor offence).Note to D.G.I have also raised and lowered the flag at school. I have served as a leader in cubs and scouts for a number of years.Even if I was really pissed off, I would not burn the flag.I despise the right-wing wofters that insist on walking around with our flag shouting their hate.
