As a women, I feel embarrassed by the way other women take cheap shots about men. Im also so over the #Metoo so called â˜movement. The criticism of men to bolster the stance and rights of women is not helpful. How about rights and welfare of all humankind, regardless of gender. The relentless stories in suffragette week didnt help. Stuff, what about a mens week eh so let devoted to the accolades of men who contributed to the benefit of humankind. Well youd need more than a week....

Absolutely brilliant. I know its satirical, but really, is closer to the truth than you think....PARENTS: let your wee darlings walk a little, even if its a block away. Walk it with them in the weekends so they know exactly where they are going and how to be safe. Its your job to teach them NOT wrap them in fat white cotton wool....!

We earn an average salary on two incomes, have a kid, pay a mortgage in a inner city Wgtn home, eat ok, dont drink, smoke or gamble, run a modest car, and guess what - we all go to bed with hot water bottles after tea to watch Netflix (which we dont pay for) to save heating expenses (and the cat joins us). Big deal! No tears or handouts required here....

Only a minority of white western men have had it good or been so called ˜privileged'. The truth is many men and women have suffered. Men have had to go to war dying by the millions, done all sorts of hard labour and dangerous jobs, provided for families in harsh conditions, etc....Women have had it hard in other ways. Just because men are white means nothing now. There is no such thing as white male privilege.

A psychologist once told me that the best way to be a parent is a style that fosters self motivation in the child. I see the authoritative style as the winning one for this. And this is motivation on all levels. Sadly, many modern parents dont do this as they are to distracted and not engaged enough. And you see the poor behaviour in many children screaming out for actually, this style of parenting. Warmth and rules.

The last 10 years or change in kids so this is what I believe could be part of the problem: 1. Diet: Increase in processed type foods and generally more additives in food. 2. Change in the way babies are fed solids: Increase in un-diagnosed food sensitivities/allergies resulting in behavioural issues.3. Increase on devices: Smart phones/Computers/Gaming etc...and social media!4. Older parents too afraid to discipline/helicopter parenting style. Results = and potentially increase in mental health problems as a result of the above, then behavior being played out at school.....

Leaky building repairs have also been an issue for apartments owners. I would never own an apartment after watching what a retired friend had to go through. Lost ALL her hard earned retirement funds, $thousands!! in court and insurance costs to repair leaky apartment, which she had no choice but to pay as ordered by Body Corporate. Really, ruined her life. Very very sad....

Quinovic Wellington are awful. I was in a very leaky apartment building and they just told me to wipe the dripping walls with a towel daily and that it was â˜normal. Wouldnt supply a dehumidifier and never fixed the bathroom fan. Made me feel like a second class citizen. Thank god I now own....beware of them!!

Thats because quite recently there seems to be a habit of tainting all men with the same brush! Yes you are absolutely right. But I say bring on more articles about examining men in a positive light. There needs to be a mens movement to counterbalance fourth wave feminism. Im scared as a mother, for my son ( dont let him see it Though!) The feminist narrative spouted to him and at him by his female counterparts is overwhelming. I think we get it now that â˜girls can do anything. Lets get a positive message out there now for young men!!

I only have one by pure choice. He is the most well adjusted social kid I know. I figure its been jealousy where people have made negative comments. And frankly I dont care what others think. I feel sorry for those stressed with multiple kids with all the financial pressures. Not to mention sibling rivalry which I notice does parents heads in!!!! Yay for one!

Exactly. Most men arent fat cat CEOs instead, many do the most dangerous jobs in the planet. And suffer or die by the millions doing it....lets celebrate men. Men rock!!

Ok so, Im the parent with kid and my husband the step-dad. A. A step parent usually never replaces the role of a bio, and doesnt have the same unconditional love invested. B. No matter how well behaved that child is, its not â˜their child. C. Very difficult situation for that child, they never asked to be in a blended situation. So, what I have done is create space every weekend so child and step-parent hey space from each other. Theres no way Im kicking out my kid...but I also want my marriage. Compromise, negotiate and get creative with solutions.

Hubs yeah right. As a daily commuter, no words to express what a balls up this really is. And on top of cycle way infrastructure nightmare in the capital. In both instances, signed and sealed designs not based on consultation with the KEY stakeholders. It doesnt get worse than this for WCC. How do you sleep at night councillors....

My lovely natured son was being bullied by another girl for weeks. After weeks of this, finally pushed her over. She went crying and narked on him. My son was hauled to the principal. Thank god they got to the bottom of it and discovered shed being bullying others also. The bullying soon stopped. Parents, take it seriously and make sure its investigated. My son was developing anxiety over it as it was deliberate and nasty and she more she got others against him too. Awful.

Unfortunately this is the reality. No different from when I was a single parent 10 years ago moving from part-time to full-time work. It's just the reality of you becoming financially independent. The more you earn, the less assistance you get and so it should be. Break the chains of support and stand on your own two feet which may mean no holidays... for now.

Actually, I was a full time student and worked part-time. And then made something of myself whilst all the whole managing my finances really well and the smell of an oily rag. But I took full responsibility for becoming a single parent and was only in a benefit briefly as emergency. Thanks for asking ;-)

Im a vegetarian (eat dairy/eggs but not meat) and absolutely each to their own. But I dont understand veganism because animals arent slaughtered for eggs or milk? Also, why do many vegans look a bit sickly - pale, thin, dark circles under their eyes?

I have up regular light weekly drinking a few years back and have absolutely no regrets. Wine was the worse for me, 2 glasses and the next morning felt like Id had 2 bottles! The odd G & T or vodka is fine for me now. As I got older, I think its the added sulphates in wine that dont agree with me.

Its not that hard. My non studious but bright year 13 student has nearly got all 80 credits months out from exams. And has done sweet â˜f all except playing Fortnite. Whats the issue??
