Just so you can make an equal comparison, 473ml @ $12 = $25.37 or $50.74 for a 2 litre tub.
its not ice cream its a dairy dessert
first i got excited about this; but then i checked the ingredients of all of their dairy flavors.and they are laced with known allergens; like vegetable gums. more and more people cant eat those.why does most companies do this?real ice cream does not need it; all that is needed are: eggs, milk/cream, sugar and then some fruit for taste, like strawberry, raspberry etc. nothing else is needed.how hard can it be?
Try Appleby Farms icecream- sooo good and made in Nelson.
Thats pretty standard for the â˜fancy ice creams around now - kapiti, Ben & Jerrys, magnum to name a few..
Just lost my appetite
Im diabetic. I could actually have some of this from time to time. also people seem to be moving away from sugar consumption. how hard could it be for you to just buy the sugar laden cheap stuff while staying quiet?
$12 for 473ml?!!! Are they joking?! Thats for to expensive for just ice cream. Wont be buying that.
Vanilla, you forgot vanilla, a flavour that ice cream was made for
Lower amount of cane sugar keeps calories lower. Plus those sweeteners like erythritol need something to take off their bitter aftertaste!
All very well, but they dont have Hokey Pokey.
If you dont like it, dont buy it! Products like these are made with a target market in mind and if you are kicking up a fuss then it probably isnt aimed at you. I think its great that there are more options available, and Im excited to try it.
They balance it with some real sugar. Also erythritol with a bit of stevia is the best tasting alternative to sugar. Its nothing like the usual artificial sweetener suspects.
Makes petrol look cheap!
Fuller the fat, lower the sugar. Much nicer!
Not buying imported ice cream with a lot of chemicals at a ridiculous price. I want to support NZ made or make my own.
Pass thanks!!!
Wonder how much freezer space will be dedicated to stocking such an expensive indulgence. Certainly wont be leaping into our shopping basket - ever..!!
At that price no way
Id rather have the full fat stuff.
