I think your mixing tough love with child abuse, theyre very different. Tough love is simple things like no dessert tonight as you wouldnt behave at the supermarket, it wont harm the child but it does teach consequences to actions, something that is sadly missing from a lot of teenagers.

When this was first proposed the govt was informed that there model didnt split the generators up enough and this would be the outcome. They were told either leave as is or increase split numbers by at least 2 more, they ignored both and went with the disaster we now have because they know so much more than the experts.

And what if the qualified woman just arent there yet? Would you choose a junior for a senior role only to see them fail horribly and leave, or would you be wiser to give them a junior role and then train them up to the senior level?

The government of the time where warned and even shown what would happen if they didnt full split up the generators to make them truly competitive. But they ignored the advise and decide to kind of do it but not really go full hog by splitting them into 3 chunks of which any one could game the market. The advice was we need to split at minimum 5 or not at all, at 5 the other 4 could under bid 1 and so allow 1 competition. And thus we have the current run away prices on electricity.

While I agree with some of the above I find the amount of pay and average to poor CEO brings in does not lend to value pay argument, it real adds to the make the rich richer and keep the poor in their place argument.

Theyre both useful and they both need to be run by competent people of they will fail. Best to use the right tool for the job.

Fried egg, with hot sauce and packet noodles was a staple in my uni flat :). Was also when I dropped sugar from my coffee as it cost too much. Im with you and very surprised how many people have lost the ability to cook even a simple healthy meal.

This I agree on, as youd know if someone is a bad tenant because no insurance company would touch them. As a tenant myself my wife and I have renters insurance as it just helps us feel better, funny though in all the years weve been flatting only had one landlord ask about it, never had to use it either.

What are you letting your dog do, my parents had 3 German shepherds at once, they replaced the carpets after the last one past away, but the carpets where in need of replacing prior. Apart from the occasional vase at dog tail height they didnt do any damage in the house.

It goes both ways, always best to do your research. Id never rent from 1st time landlords again, best landlords Ive had have been those with 2-3 properties and been in it for a while, theyre the ones that get stuff fixed when you let them know its damaged or broken.

No screws for my desktop, case has 2 lock points that twist open very easy, then thumb down to release memory, very easy. Most of the games I play on my desktop just dont exist on console, and I really couldnt see a 6 year old lappy having a chance of playing then in anything but low res.

How did they find out about it? I know my parents recently renovated there bathroom, and it turns out they had a leaking pipe that had rotted away a supporting beam, they where lucky to get it before it collapsed. But they only found out due to the entire floor being ripped up in for the renovation, renovators think it was leaking for a while.

Its possible, Ive seen combine gas electricity bills over $1200 for a month, a friend of mine from US new to NZ mid winter cranked his gas heating up as one would in the US, got a very nasty shock at how expensive gas is and poorly insulated NZ house are.

Really, this what happens after a short site National helps Greed corporations drain every dollar out of the kiwi economy and posted it overseas. Notice the record profits by the large Aussie firms in NZ, and yet their staff havent seen more than 0-1% yearly pay rises in the last decade.
