Slightly worse off so far with stopped tax cuts and the petrol tax. But I do have concerns re what happen with things such as unemployment and interest rates over the next 24 months. Time will tell I guess. What does irk me with the Coalition is the lack of transparency, dodgy dealings and flips flops such the immigration stance.

Devastating attack it was only devastating as Curran was caught in a lie and was tottaly inept. Any politian with any competence or any senior manager should have been able to handle that devastating attack easily. She is paid $180 to help run our country after all!

So the coalition being less than up front and trying to pull the will over voters eyes again. The $100M was actually (bugeted) set aside for mental health initiatives but not drawn down until specific appropriate heatlh projects were identified. ie: the money is there..they just actually have to do some work to get it.

Not Simon lying...read the article. It is either Jacinda or Handley lying. One of them have not told the truth...he we either offered the job a month ago or he wasnt...seems stage if he wasnt offered the job they wouldnt need to pay him out. My money is on Simon being correct.

Um I think it was National that increased Child doctors visit to under 13, introduced childcare 20hrs, increased benefits and many other initiatives for families. What is going to counteract Labours initiatives is the hugest cost increases that are coming...net affect people will be worse off.

Minor glitches...the list is long and it has only been 9 months. Helicopter rides, coalition agreement visibility, petrol tax, private plane travel trips, labour camps, no change to immigration...the list goes on and on. I didnt even mention Currens woeful performance and the waste of money there.

Only option to get some of the pie is crime...you mean only easy option. I and a lot of my friends were brought up poor but did not commit crime. Primarily because we were actually brought up by parents that wanted more for their kids. We were not dragged up and let loose and left to our own devices. Poor is not an excuse...poor parenting is the cause. What comes first..poverty or poor attitude due to rubbish parents.

She probably is a great woman...does not make her a good leader of the country though. I believe she started out as genuine and wanted to help people but then has bitten of more than she can chew and is now being less than transparent to cover the ineptitude

I think just realists that realise that this coalition is failing badly and the people are suffering because of it. The poor are still poor...even more so now with the low dollar value and the petrol taxes. The homeless are still homeless. No houses built...apart from ones started by National and some soon to be brought that were being built anyhow. Still same number of incoming immigrants....but more people leaving the country. No trees planted. lots of money on whimsical things and a push for more refugees.

How could you not. It has been a train wreck of broken promises, changes in direction, blatant wastes of money, ineptitude and deceit. Even my brother who has always been a labour supporter admitted that this time they are not up to it and that unless things improved, he would not vote Labour next time.

Same here. My family of 5 were regular viewers every night until about 6 months ago. Just got so over the top with the whole cult thing, Leanne and the whole wacky spirit stuff, they started swearing regularly which wasnt great for the younger ones and then the sex scenes every 5 minutes. Show just turned to rubbish.

Gee what a surprise!. When kids have no boundaries and its all about nicey nicey, restorative justice, talk fests when someone misbehaves and power taken from parents and teachers what did we expect. My kids schools (3 different schools) dont even enforce detention any more. Be interesting to see a graphical representation when corporal punishment at school was banned and also when smacking ban came in -
