Why decriminalise when you could legalise and Tax? Just got back from San Francisco, completely legal, safe clean dispensaries. A pleasure to buy and use. And guess what? California hasnt dropped into a world of potheads and lazy nogoodniks. Legalise it. Just like Uraguay just like Canada. Lets be 1 world leaders again on this country rather than sad followers of mixed an unworkable laws like in Amsterdam.

Mark Reason you are simply absurd. Beauden Barrett is the best no. 10 in the world by some distance and not even Dan Carter in his absolute pomp could have scored the tries Beauden scored in the last match. His kicking for territory was also sublime and his continued ability to set up players outside of him is unmatched in the current game. You say he is no Dan Carter but it was you along with a number of other scribes that were calling for DCs scalp before the last World Cup, saying hes to old too slow, unable to make the plays Cruden can. As for your ridiculous assertion that we have only played 2 teams of international quality and lost to both of them, I call enormous BS. The Irish team you rate so highly lost 1 game out of three against the Australian team you are so disparaging towards, and could quite easily won BOTH of the other two, had decisions and or bounces of the ball go their way. The line pressure the lions and the Irish put on the All Blacks has been effectively negated by the ABs attacking line playing deeper and making pockets inside already run lines. The English team you talked up as the big threat for RWC2019 10 months ago were humiliated by a one dimensional limited Springboks side. Beauden Barrett is the best 1st 5 in the world. Richie Mounga is not. Jordie Barrett proved over and over in the last game with his positional play his ability under the High ball and his running game that he is certainly the second best fullback in the country, behind Ben Smith. Yes you are old fashioned and blind and stupid as well if you think thats the best back three in the country. If last game proved anything it proved Jordie, Ben and Reiko are the best back three (with Waisake as backup) and Beauden Barrett is the best 1st 5 in the country with DMac as backup. Stuff, can you pay ME to write this rugby column from now on? Because this un-Reason-able individual has done enough damage to the brains of the NZ rugby public as should be allowed.

I still dont understand this vehemence for a Hub system. The old point to point routes worked far better in a small city with windy steep streets such as ours. The Hubs in Wellington simply get congested in the central city (exactly the opposite of what was promised) while the outlying areas now have a woefully inadequate amount of city omnibus visits.

It just goes to show what a corrupt, filthy and nasty political party National is. This is obviously the culture and we still, after this has come out, National MPs willing to back this awful human being. The fact that 43% of New Zealanders would vote for a party with this type of morality should be the cause of nationwide shame.

Yeah interesting points but the Crusaders travelled there last year and won. Travel is not worth 20-30 points. Maybe 10. The 1 reason the Lions will be dusted up on Saturday is simply how good this Crusaders side is. They made a very good Hurricanes side look decidedly less than average last week, and the Lions are not of the â˜Canes quality.

Thats because they havent committed any, but in this case you have two men found guilty in a court of law for their crimes, and both with connections to illegal behaviour by the sitting president.

It's that kinda of attitude that will try to stunt this movement. Why can't it happen? If men make up their minds not to sexually assault. If the majority of men call other men out on it. Is that not something you can do Cooch1? Well if you can why not everyone? And if you can't what the hell is wrong with you?

Its a solid pack, pretty much the best tight five we can put out there with Sam on the bench. The loosies have a dynamism and running ability with a hard edge that may be the major difference in this game if it breaks up a little, Savea, Frizzell and Read May cause havoc with their abrasive running and quality ball skills. Good to see such an exciting three get a chance to play together. The backs have a makeshift look to them but there are game breakers aplenty with NMS and Naholo on the wings and Laumape in the Centre. I hope the combination between Perenara and Mounga clicks, as Perenara has a tendency to try to do to much when he doesnt trust the man outside him, and that could be difficult, though he has scored a number of tries this season and is running well. Its good to see DMac on the bench to slot in where needed if theres an issue and be injected later if theres not. I imagine hell be disappointed to not get a start and be filling the super-sub role however. I hope Mounga proves to be the quality backup he has the potential to be, this is his biggest game and a chance to further push BB for a starting spot, though hed have to pull one out of the hat to threaten Barrett after the latters performance last week. Goodhue needs to make his tackles on the inside because he missed more than he made in the last outing (not opinion, Just statistics). It feels good to have the worlds best fullback at fullback theres a sense of solidity and all around skill in the back three. Its interesting that with all the changes theres no debutants in the starting 15 and only 1 possible one in the 23. The way Hansen and Co are able to build this squad and bring more talented players in without compromising the integrity and quality of the side is a credit to the coaching unit, and the depth of quality and skill that exists in New Zealand. Guys like Frizzell getting a shot, his second, show the continued success of the feeder systems of Mitre 10 and super rugby. It must have been a plan to give Mounga a run against the Pumas from early on, but is there another coach in the world that would drop, sorry *rest* a first five after a performance of the calibre that Beaudy put in last game? Is there another coach that is spoiled with such riches? I predict a solid All Blacks victory facing a side that ran it from everywhere against a limited springbok team, do that against these ABs at your peril Los Pumas.

This is the one issue. Ben Smith is our best Fullback. But they want to give Jordie a run as hes the future after the next World Cup. Nehe probably only has this one left too. Would have been nice to see him get a run, and leave the best fullback at fullback. Though it does mean Nehe will be there to pick up the Ranfurly shield from Taranaki on Friday night for the Turbos.

$108,000 for a one bedroom apartment in Wellington is fantastic value, great use of money for housing stocks, new one bedroom builds start from around 275-300k for the private sector. The tenants pay around $200-250 per weeks round 70% of market rates.

+18−3

I dont understand the negativity on these posts, we have a housing crisis, this is affordable housing for those in need, and we have complaints about that? Theres no winning with some people. Sheesh!

+24−9

That is so ridiculous its beyond belief. These are top level athletes getting paid a third of what they do in Europe and a fraction of what comparable athletes are in the US. Theres not enough money in NZ to finance an incomparable team like the All Blacks in this day and age of professional sport. We need as much money in the game as we possibly can if we want to ensure the All Blacks specifically and New Zealand rugby in general remains at the top of the world game.

And the under 20s who lost this year. He is a proven winner. Thats the type of coach we need. Get him in the wider ABs group for the southern rugby championship and end of year tour, give him the keys to succession. I would much rather have Razor as ABs coach than the unproven Fozzie.

ALB deserves an 8 or nine even, what did he do wrong? Frizzell a nine, that was a special performance and TJ was perhaps the difference out there between the teams, and he needed to be as Mounga was ineffective and unable to impose anything on the game, Sanchez showed him up in a big way, shows what a real running first five can do, much like our number 1. Lets hope he grows from this, as at the moment Id be terrified if he had to come on to play a QF on for the All Blacks in RWC2019.

+21−9

Thats a simply ludicrous statement. Its exactly this type of building that could end the housing crisis. Yes it may not be your three bedroom on quarter of an acre ME1, but if I had to choose between this and living in a cardboard box on the street or in my car this type of housing gets the win EVERY TIME.

+23−11

That is genuinely obscene. Lets get this referendum on the table right now Jacinda (well as soon as you get back from making a splash at the UN) innocent people are being needlessly criminalised because of their countrys draconian approach to recreational cannabis use. Legalise it tax it, make an enormous amount of money from it, break up the gangs control on it, destroy their major revenue stream, free up our counts from needless prosecutions, make peoples lives better, make NZ a genuinely amazing place to live. Become the greatest prime minister this country has ever had. It is time to follow Canadas lead and haul Aotearoa into the 21st century.

Good side, great to see Alby get a start, and perhaps consigning SBW to a bench role where he was so effective last World Cup. Interesting to see the continued development of Jordie at the back, I do believe that Smith in that position and Naholo on the wing with this side and Retallick back is our best 15. The best 23 is much tougher. Naholo has to start because hes a wing specialist, McKenzie is great cover everywhere and so devastating when the game breaks up and oppositions are tired. That potentially means no space for Jordie. It would be interesting to see whether Hansen sees him as a first line player ahead of Naholo, or this is just more preparation and he knows what Waisake can do. Great to see Tuipolotu get a call up to the bench, Patrick looked devastating for Auckland last week in Mitre 10 Cup and put his hand up at the right time, would be nice to see him get 15-20 to see if he can provide that sort of impact off the bench, definitely no better than the fourth ranked lock in the country (and lucky to be that) but in a nation with a dearth of really big men, he gets a big chance to show he needs to be in the mix come RWC2019. All Blacks by 20+

Exactly. Trump has created a culture where loving the gun and hating the press are two of his most prominent platforms. This is a direct response to that. The assailant had a long running beef with the newspaper that is 1, but did not resort to this type of violence until a year and a half into Trump's reign. For those saying how has Trump anything to do with this tragedy, all you have to do is look at the climate of hatred, violence, and intolerance that is preached from his Twitter pulpit every damned day. This is DIRECTLY the result of a Trump presidency, welcome to Trump's America

Yes they did, the firebombing of Dresden was s pure ascot if terror, designed to pummel the Germans into defeat. However it was a means to an end to destroy the worst threat to world democracy in the 20th century. You must remember the holocaust alone killed 6 million Jews. Not to mention, gypsies, homosexuals, Slavs and people considered âof low breedingâ. Nazism is the closest human beings have come to creating a regime of pure evil. Comparing the allies actions in the Second World War to the Nazis and saying they are even in the same ballpark is ludicrous, theyre not on the same ballpark theyre not in the same city, theyre not even playing the same game!

What does this even mean? Rugby is not yet a works game and NZ does more to promote it in the world stage than anyone. Taking the ABs to play at Soldier field, pushing for inclusion of Argentina and Japan in super rugby. Exporting not only NZ playing talent but coaching talent around the world. Not just the superpowers either but Pakistan and India and Zimbabwe and Namibia and other rugby backwaters. Yes NZ has relied on PI talent for a long time without enough give back but even that is changing. Truly I dont understand this comment at all.

So what youre saying is if Beauden Barrett scores 30+ points this week it will be because the South Africans are so terrible? Are you of the opinion then that Richie Mounga was so average last week because the Argentinians are the BEST opposition to the All Blacks in the comp? Your arguments are self fulfilling, and B.B. cant possibly prove himself even if he plays brilliantly and Argentina wins no further games. You must remember this is South Africa the team that has beaten NZ more than any other. If then they rise and put on a decent challenge or (heaven forbid) actually win a game, youll blame that on Barrett too. Theres simply no winning when you start with an opening statement like that. I predict a big win by the ABs and the Barrett boys (all three) to shine. But unfortunately for those like you with an axe to grind it will never be enough.

Edibles, vapes, CBD oils and pain relieving rubs and balms, legalisation opens up all these avenues to use and enjoy the benefits of cannabis WITHOUT smoking it. Decriminalisation and growing your own doesnt, unless you have a very foot pot butter brownie recipe... um... anyone?

What the hell is wrong with you? Do you just hate poor people? They cant afford your 1960s ex state house, there is a housing shortage and this government is actually doing something about it. Would you rather he lived on the street or in a car, or in a hotel which was the incredibly expensive MO of the last government.

I couldn't disagree more. We will roll over England, once again I can't see them getting out of their pool at RWC2019. But if we lose to Ireland twice in two years, that will give this very talented mob, with an astute coach the belief they can do it at the Cup. Then meeting Ireland in the knockout stages is fraught with danger. If however we give the Paddys a sound

+7−4

Yeah but this Australia team took a test off the supposed 2nd best team in the world Ireland, and with some luck could have had the other two too, and South Africa dismantled England, so really who is left to challenge the All Blacks? They can only beat whos put in front of them after all.

+2−0

To whatever the asking price is. You get a loan pre-approved say 750k and you can spend up to that in an auction or a private sale when the home value may only be 450 or 500k. In general we pay way over the GV (government valuation) for hot property markets in New Zealand.

+2−0

Great idea. Essentially a pared down World Cup every year. Youd definitely get a gauge on how teams are trending, and it would challenge the NH teams to actually challenge the SH teams rather than just sending b sides. My only concern is, with this being played every year, with the only teams likely to win the RWC playing each other, doesnt it massively devalue that tournament?

+1−0

Hes won it twice. Once as an assistant, once as head coach. He knows how to win it, theres no need for redemption if he loses it at the next one. Pack up and move along, give someone else a go. But if he wins, keep him. It really is that simple. Until he decides otherwise of course.

+2−2

Jordie MOTM and rightly so, most metres made most line breaks most defenders beaten and FOUR tries! And for those calling him a draught horse, and that he doesnt have the pace, hes 64❠which means when hes running he doesnt look crazy fast like a McKenzie. But he sure is quick. Now the question is where do you put him?All that said. Its Italy and they didnt slow down the ball like Ireland or England, and they didnt employ a rush defence to pressure Barrett et al. Thats still a question this All Blacks side doesnt look to have an answer to... yet. Roll on 2019, exciting times. If youre a rugby (or cricket) fan that is.
