The correct decision to make. The only decision to make.

well it had to happen... all the best to her, but she also should have gone sooner.

At last. Its a shame she took so long to fall on her sword and do the right thing

NNZ decision making contributed significantly to these outcomes. Broader accountability required.

I trust Netball NZ will review their actions . They too should be accountable with their draconian views on playing offshore. They let the best go not the coach.

Correct decision which should have happened a while ago

Its good she resigned. Dont know where CEO gets the idea she is a fine coach ? why is she leaving then. Get real NNZ

Why waste your time commenting then.

Unfortunately Southby just didnt cut it. Netball NZ let the best one slip away Nolene Taurua. They have got the players now need to select a good coach.

She had excellent players but unfortunately she made bad decisions. If its working dont change it but she didnt do that. We were the top for years. Need a decent coach.

Feel sorry for her but it had to happen. Not expecting an overnight turnaround from the Ferns but just want to see some change of strategy, giving some new players a chance and some sane coaching during games. Also would like to see Langman return to the Ferns.

You need a good coach to get the best out of good players and create a good team. She was definitely not that

I think it is not all due to coaching. A lot of the other world teams have improved enormously in netball, the reason being that their players are allowed to play in overseas teams.Come on NZ maybe time to look at the eligibility rules as well. Why cant a kiwi play in the Australian league and still be eligible for selection for the Silver Ferns? Sure has helped the likes of England and Jamaica!

Now that the inevitable has happened Im keen to look to see the new Coaching lineup. Great board move with legend Bernice Mene added. Subtle change with HP moved to advisory status as they have had too much executive power in the past.

Netballs version of Tana Umaga

Hallelujah! Gosh it took a while, that is for sure. Now, the SFs players need to regain their confidence and self belief. If the right coach is appointed that will happen. Fingers crossed NNZ makes the right decision this time! A few changes to the squad would no doubt be required as well.

One more year and Steve Hanson is available....
