All afternoon we were finding drink bottles , chocolate bar wrappers , opened biscuit packets , chip packets , packets of sweets , packets of nuts etc etc dumped on shelves. Someone had even scooped a couple of handfulls of ice cream out of a 2 litre pack and dumped it on a shelf

New Brighton Mall needs a roof put on it from end to end. I love New Brighton Mall and its sad to see it in the state its in and yes it used to be really really busy but that was because there was no where else to go. The other malls were in their infancy and New Brighton stood pretty much alone and people would put up with the rain and the wind to get their shopping done. Now they dont have to.......
Why would a bunch of youngsters want to live in shoeboxes piled up beside one another? Every time you amp the stereo up thered be a knock at the door. Id imagine its a pretty good option for retirees , bugger all garden to look after apart from a few pots , nice and close to everything , have your daily constitutional around Hagley or Cranmer.
