A year later, I was not given an increase at all and I was told it was because they could not have a woman earning more than a man - Rubbish. They might have said they wouldnt have one of you earning more than the other and you just read it as a man v women thing, but there is no way in hell any company in the last 10 years would tell some woman they cant earn more than a man.

Grab an old pair of sports socks - mostly fill one with kitty litter then tie the end. Place that inside the other sock. Stick it in your car somewhere near the front or on the dash - helps with moisture inside and also a kinda nice smell.

You say that like youre revealing some big secret. Obviously they do, the same way an 18 year old with a V8 would pay more for car cover than middle aged person. The more likely you are to have a claim the more you have to pay otherwise youd only have the very old and the very sick taking insurance... therefore premiums have to be stupidly high... therefore the rest of us who want cover just in case couldnt afford it.

What we have here is a racist way of drawing people. You dont draw African-American people with the huge lips the same way you dont draw Pacific Islanders with bones through their noses and you dont use certain words these days as they have racist connotations. Forget the battle-cry of the stupid that its PC gone mad, instead just realise its impolite and not necessary in this day and age. The cartoon is spot is in its content - she was being a brat... I just dont see why he had to draw her in a way that he knew would be seen as racist. Actually, look at all the publicity... I do know why.
