Trump is turning America into a shambles, regardless of what he may be doing to improve their economy, he is doing it in a way that is alienating his country even more than before. I can not ever recall a time where America was so disliked by the international community. Only Isreal is left standing beside him right now.
House of cards. The U.S. is heading for a bloody nose.Trade wars invariably end with one side seriously injured. The Global economy cant, quite survive, without the U.S. but its working towards it. All nations fall sooner or later and with Comidous this could be a curtain call.
Citizens of the United States of America. Please think of the rest of the world when you go to vote this coming November!
Reinforcing his approach are Trumps favourite benchmarks - the US stock market and employment figures - which continue to boom.Wait until the 1 effects of these tariffs hit. Then hell blame Obama.
With friends like the USA who needs enemies. Today its Turkey - tomorrow, the rest of us. Its tough to judge an entire nation by the actions of their president, but the USA is a democracy and the power to change that president (or at least reign him in until they can vote him out) lies with the people in the mid-term elections. If they dont do so the rest of the world will have to assume that Trump really does embody the will of the American people and the rest of the world should band together and shun them.
I used to look on the US as a beacon of light in a troubled world but now I only see a country that seems determined to bully other countries and bend them to its will no matter how much that may hurt them. They have lost any credibility in this world. Change cannot come soon enough.
Trade war ?? I dont think so. Apart from the miliitary industrial complex, the business of war; and GMO food, the business of chemical farming; the US has nothing to offer, some poorly built cars aside. For the last 30 years the US elite have shipped out all of the high paying jobs and industries to cheap labour countries such as Japan / China / Korea etc for the good of corporate profits. Their national deficit will probably hit $US 1 TRILLION for the first time this year, money that they will have to borrow that off someone stupid enough to lend it to them. I suspect that they have neither the ability nor the intention of ever paying back the $US20 TRILLION that they already owe other countries, but to think they can win a trade war with a broken economy is nothing short of absurd, but wouldnt a good war at this time be convenient to breath a little more life into the dying corpse that is the disUnited States of America !!
The house of cards is already starting to fall. Carrier and Harley Davidson; farmers unable to employ workers to pick their produce, coal and steel faltering....the crash is coming and we will be affected.
who would of thought Iran teaching usa manners and etiquette in international relations
Donald, youre FIRED!
When the negative effects of his tariffs get reported hell just say its fake news.
Yeah I could over-boost the turbo on my car for a quick horsepower increase, but its also a great way to blow it up. Trumpf seems to have the same attitude, hell take short term gains to stroke his ego with little regard for the long term damage done to the country. The trumpf train runs on coal, not exactly a future focused economy is it?
oh if only!
Currency wars, trade wars, world war 1, repeat, currency wars, trade wars, world war 2, repeat, currency wars, trade wars, ..................!!
About 18 months ago I sold off all of my international stocks. Except for Australian shares. Over time, I came to think that I might have been a bit previous? But now? Whew. The big crunch is coming and all investors will be looking for safe havens. The US is increasingly looking most unsafe. To be honest, when the Moron-in-Chief has finished with his trade war, Im not sure where a safe haven would be? That dairy in Eketahuna is looking more and more appealing?
Mr Watson, the global economy can survive without the US. Should the EU, Asia, China and Russia plus some other nations band together they could being down the US very quickly. The world does not NEED the US, the US needs to the world. Just look at the US trading figures, figures published by the US Government. They had the US exports in the positive with one country only for the year. The US, regularly has trillion dollars of exports in the red, never in the Black
The US economy is currently getting a short term stimulus from the cuts in business tax that are sucking billions of untaxed profits back into the USA. It wont last. In another year the US government will be facing the medium term effects of less income from the business sector. When combined with the long term impact of trade deficits, the economic outlook for the USA is poor. The next few years will be a rough ride for the rest of the world, but I believe that those nations that trade efficiently and fairly will find that it is possible to survive and thrive in international trade without the USA. It may well be that instead of the President Trumpmaking America great again, he will make it less relevant.
Those that fail to learn from history . . . . . .
sadly, you are probably right
