Why the Warriors' record should give fans reason to rejoice

HA,ha, youre JOKING, right?

If the warriors didnt get off to such a good start at the beginning of the season they wouldnt be in the 8. Weve seen good signs this year, however weve seen warriors of old all to often also. Weak defence on the edges, a million dollar 7 who lacks decisive decision making and hardly ever takes the ball to the line to put opposition defence in two minds. The teams above them are also a class or two above them. Bob voyage

Appalling display by Warriors in 2nd half. I dont blame Kearney here. This team started the season like they were world beaters, then someone just turned off switch.Actually...more like lights on, no one home.

This is from the same writer that told us Maumalo and Kata have formed one of the most impenetrable edges in the NRL. A realism check required by a few I think.

Rejoice? The beaten by 30+ - rebound act wont get them very far in the playoffs, will it. Thats if they manage to make the 8.

Must be tough being the â˜Warriors Reporter! Always trying to find the positives from a limp wristed display. With the Dragons looking to bounce back from their capitulation to stay in the top four, this will be do or die for this south Auckland rabble.

Yes, but up until losing to the titans the warriors had won the last 7 of 8 on the Gold Coast, the last 14 of 15 against the Gold Coast & 10 out of 10 this year when leading at half time (which they were against GC) so not really a good omen going forward. I seriously hope they can pull it together to make the 8 but if they played like did in the second half on Sunday they wont be beating anyone!

All season I have remained positive and tried to see something good from each and every loss, but honestly, I thought Thursday nights game was one of the most pathetic games I had seen until Sunday and what a disgusting pathetic lack of everything game it was. Warriors now have to hope they can win against Dragons, um not very likely is it, and a further one at least after that. The Tigers I think deserve to play off against Warriors for position 8. Neither team are consistent enough to really deserve 8th place. If Warriors do manage 8th they will be slaughtered by Storm who look likely to be 1st placed. I think Warriors have shown they have a hang of a good team but just cant cure enough of the basic things they do wrong. Next year is another year and maybe this one will propel them on to be a more consistent side which is all thats lacking.

Issac Luke makes a massive difference to this team. Terrible second half.

My pick is for the Warriors to lose the last few games of the season and finish 9th, on points differential.

bounced back with wins against tigers, eels and manly..... big deal everyone seems to be able to beat those teams this year. dragons by 20

so 1, the constant inconsistent results are hurting one and all

Good start but have now devolved into the team we all know. Normal transmission resumed.

Consistent inconsistency. Lol

warrors won t make top 8 simple give up in hard games to easy

once again lazy defence ,warriors have a habit of this, yawning gaps for opposition to run thro

I dont think fans will be rejoicing. The warriors in just about every season show some games all in a row where they appear great. Because this happened at the beginning of the season it made people quite hopeful of greatness. As usual they slump back to being inconsistent.
