It could prove that the trade war will more of a faux war, something to distract the electorate while they pursue another agenda closer to home. The border issue, Trumps constant references to drug gangs rampaging in America highlight contempt for the rule of law. Trump and his backers are evidently pursuing a strategy of making their own reality. The working poor who elected should be worried, he doesnt give a damn about them.
