Not really. Ive worked on a major product that was broken down this way and it allowed us to deliver our product on time.

Developers arent stupid, but most products these days need highly attuned UI or customers wont bite. Which is why UI/UX and testing are required as well. I have full confidence in the developers I work with, but a good product relies on a more holistic team. Good is relative.

Im with Dennis. Our standups are 10 minutes, and sprint planning is about an hour every 2 weeks. If you take longer than that, youre doing it wrong.

Uh no. You actually have sessions where you size the work, and its never even. But thats what helps you decide what you can accomplish in a certain amount of time.

It takes you up to an hour to get back into the zone?? Maybe its not them, but you...Plus, most teams have their sprint meeting first thing in the morning, after everyone has had a chance to come in, check their emails, and make a cuppa.

Um, Im pretty sure when she was granted security clearance and a direct role at the White House that it made her at least partly responsible for whatever her father is up to, especially as her family benefits financially from much of it. Not only that, I manage to delight in and love my children without feeling the need to put it on social media constantly. Ivankas post is PR, not love.

Its amazing how many people in these comments are so desperate and eager to hit, cane, and smack children. The children being described in this article are often coming from places of trauma, or have legitimate mental health or learning issues. Hitting them doesnt solve any of that. Its not like were the only country in the world with anti-smacking legislation. Look at the majority of Europe. If their children are not having the same behavioural issues ours are, that means theres something within our society thats the problem. Maybe look to that before deciding a missing cane is the problem.

@ Peter S “ The combination of fear and respect that youre discussing is also known as an autocratic dictatorship. Id rather not have that in my home or in schools.@ JwRant “I have plenty of fond memories of teachers putting me on a good path “ and none of it involved being hit.I really cant understand why you think violence toward children is such a great solution.
