I use very little from what I learnt at school. the real world is very different now. A friend of mine which is a teacher said and I quote we are teaching kids for jobs we dont even know exist yes we need doctors, nurses etc but not every child will grow up to be these things, so stop saying its just them teaching the future, some people are self taught......

what I meant was school is not where the learning finishes. yes reading and writing, but math on the other hand.....I learnt more in the workforce in regards to math. I was talking about how people think that its just teachers that teach us things which is un1.

if you have rental propertys then you should be able to claim back GST on improvements anyway as is a business. thats what an old landlord did by in the day....

again no different from any other job or parent (coaching part) 3 teachers in my family and even they say that know they get better holidays and my daughter teacher just came back from 3 weeks off in the UK. the feeling I get is that some are just not very good at time management. we all should just keep an eye on the school car parks to see when they are empty. if you take you work home then thats your choice (like I do sometimes) plus 70k pay is good money in my eyes
