I know first hand someone who has the same level incomplete spinal injury (due to an accident) as the man in the story. And the difference between their lives astounds me. They have everything they need to be able to get on with and live their life in their own home, modified vehicle, housing alterations, equipment, round the clock support workers, access to therapists, operations, you name it, its available. Thats how it should be. This poor guy in the story, he needs help and ASAP.
Sorry to hear of your accident. Have you tried going through an agency for your carers? You dont have to deal with the money/paperwork side of having carers then. Anything for an easier life, I say. Hope you get it sorted.
