Is this real? Are people seriously watching other people watch TV now? The fact that its not even original and it is being copied from other countries... Im well and truly never going back to broadcast TV. The quality of shows seems to have dug right through the bottom of the barrel and are well into bedrock.
So if I inherit the business that my parents have built over their whole lives, would I have to sell it if I do not have the money to pay inheritance tax? its not an intergenerational farm Even if I dont have to sell I would imagine inheriting a business with a massive tax burden right off the bat would kill many SMEs
I remember when I was a young teen with little cash, I had my eye on a game at EB games. The game was $30 and I was saving for it. I went to the mall most weeks and usually browsed in the store. After a few weeks looking at the game I noticed the price suddenly double, then after a couple weeks at the doubled price EB games had their 50% off sale which bought the price to......$30. I felt so ripped off I never shopped there again.
The industry I work in is absolutely booming due to globalisation. Horticulture couldnt really exist in NZ without exports. You must be posting this comment from a phone or computer? They arent made in NZ. I imagine you have a car and watch TV. All of those things are made affordable by globalisation, it has raised the standard of living around the world immensely and the modern world could not function without it. Do you think we would be better off closing our borders and trying to do everything ourselves?
When I visit my city friends who dont have dogs I find the amount of waste insane! we give our dog basically every leftover animal product and some veggies, the rest goes to the compost.

Inheritance tax good economics, and the politics may be better than they seem
