Its going to take a lot more than one Mark Reason article to address the misandry in the mainstream media and elsewhere. How many men have the courage to speak up? Hardly any. Maybe if the focus was on speaking up for boys ( rather than for themselves) this would help overcome inhibitions. And goodness knows boys need the help.

You can call me whatever you like but insisting that I refer to myself the same way and that if I dont it is due to a moral failure on my part , is taking arrogance to eye-brow-raising levels. Such presumption and self-enthrallment can only be met with laughter, really. Anger seems inappropriate.

Dont worry, Crystal , you put a game on the map that most NZers ( and perhaps others) would not otherwise have noticed or cared the least about. And wasnt that the idea of the match - to advertise rugby league in the USA? Rugby union is the game NZ is passionate about. Rugby league is a minor sport. So, the organisers should be thanking you.

Any top-down change ( so called progress ) is a left-wing as opposed to a right wing ( conservative , status quo ) value, so yes, in principle. What was regarded as progressive many long years ago , as opposed to today , is of course very different. That is why conservatives are not as enthralled by progress as progressives are.

No, they themselves make a point of telling the rest of the world that England, Scotland , Nth Ireland and Wales are separate countries joined in a union , the United Kingdom. You only have to listen to the Scots and others venting their mean-spirited bile on the English to understand that they dont see themselves as part of the same country.

If you have a problem with animals being exploited then dont enter a contract to cater for the general publics coffee-drinking needs. And if you do, what on earth are complaining to the media for when the public quite rightly object to you not catering for them. The customer is always right- first rule of business.
