Sure. But in this case its just silence. Thing is, its all well and fine pointing to some published selection criteria. But at this level, the athletes probably know whether they have a chance or not at performing in these big events (some may have visions of grandeur, but by now at world champs they know whether theyre up for it or not). What they need to know is if the selection panel is on the same page with them. If not, then just let them know so they dont go wasting their time and money on some futile exercise of meeting some criteria but still not being selected. Or, as in this case, let them know they have a chance but in reality they need to perform at level x in certain events. If it was as simple as just having some black and white selection criteria, then Cycling NZ could save money by just formulating this then not even needing a selection panel.

It definitely feels like its matured a lot in the last decade. Moved away because of the weather but still enjoy going back to visit. Great cosmopolitan city thats easy to get around and lots and lots of outdoorsy stuff right in the city or just on the periphery.

You could just take the Air out of Air NZ and this article would describe common customer/supplier relationships here. Small country with little to no competition in most services = no need to sharpen up. So its just luck of the draw usually on who you are dealing with on any given day.

Here is a (recent) history lesson on what can go wrong when councils open the door to ratepayer money.http://www.stuff.co.nz/taranaki-daily-news/news/5456452/Money-for-surf-reef-a-wipeoutSounds like a great idea to me. But if its that great, then it should float without backing of ratepayers.

Really well researched and produced show. I think the real magic is how they manage to tease out the stories and have the people on each show come across so naturally and relaxed.

Spot on. Wheres the skill in surfing the net to find something to buy v actually being able to create something with your own hands? Wheres the skill in getting a myfoodbag dropped off on the door step v going out and catching some fish, and harvesting some veg from your own garden. The smarter the tools get, the dumber/lazier we become.

So to summarise, all along, and possibly going forwards, the tenant gets to pay the property management company for dealing with all the other unsuccessful applicants, some ads and filing some paperwork. Generous.

Genuine question, if my phone provider refuses to release the most up to date operating system on the android phone I bought from them is it my responsibility to check with the bank that Im still good using their app downloaded through the app store? Or should the bank be not supporting out of date and vulnerable versions of operating system with their app?

Ill let you all into a secret. And it is this. If you increase the intensity of effort from the 3 minute workout by 50%, then you can save yourself a minute a day by only having to do a 2 minute workout.

DFSNZ could be a bit more visible in my opinion. Every year I signed up for harriers or local cycling club, including competing at national events in both running and cycling, never seen anything related to DFSNZ. Youd think that paying up membership for sports like these that fall under their umbrella you would get pointed to their website at a minimum maybe?Agree with some other posters. This article could go further and give us some examples of how they make a determination of intentional v unintentional doping.

Over twenty years ago now, doing the London thing, I could prebook my movie ticket, turn up to the cinema, present the same credit card you booked with to a hole in the wall machine to get your ticket. Maybe something like this would help with the painfully slow queues to get day passes.

I dont know if its ignorance or selfishness. Most of them already know if their dog has a menacing nature. They just refuse to do anything about it and expect the rest of us to tip toe around them.

Or do what most passengers do in this situation. Just dont board the plane. Then everybody gets to sit on the tarmac for a while longer while baggage staff try find their baggage to remove before the plane can depart.
