I would be more than happy to follow the Aus example and deport those that abuse the privilege of living here......starting with those that are abusing their own people in the employment etc area. I also cannot understand how people can decide that they want to live here and arrive on an easily got any type visa. It used to be a very rigid and long process. We are being overrun and the damage is done.

not much at all the numbers are still far to high the way this country is going with huge housing shortages etc it should be capped to highly skilled people and should be at 10000 per year like 2013 huge immigration has made a huge housing shortage as we dont have the roads all housing this country is going to become more and more like the UK and there is going to be to much immigrants dose the government ever think about generations to come and robots most off the people that come to this Country want pr visa housing jobs makes everything harder on us kiwis born here after all to be a kiwi new Zealander you have to be born in the new Zealand hospital we are getting taken over day by day there be nothing left and new Zealand will end up a 3th world country and a big slum just have a good look at Auckland its become taken over by immigrants the truth is that

Yes people may move across the Tasman because Australia dont have the same amount of immigration per capita as NZ and have a stronger stance on behaviour of immigrants including NZers, which makes it extremely ironic.

Id love to see the data on whether its NZ born, or foreign born migrants moving to Australia and other countries. The low wage economy values its immigrants more than its generational citizens. A melting pot is great, but the NZ raised, NZ educated are still mo img away. The brain drain has been an issue for decades and nothing has been successful in addressing it. Muldoon actually got it wrong. Look how successful NZers and NZ companies become after moving to Australia.

The Australian government hates bludging, criminal kiwis... They love those of us who work, pay taxes, buy houses and dont break the law.

Unliveable means you aint got much, and unlikely to get any more. THAT situation is firmly the fault of the previous regime. Infrastructure fail. Education fail. Health fail. Housing fail. Actually, everything fail except for those people that already HAVE. Kiwis were once a people who planned and could do, and most of all cared. In the space of 25 years, we have lost our way as a nation, Just a sordid wannabe without the guts to achieve.
