Open your eyes, Ofa has been immense this year. Certainly hasnt been out of his depth. Just another Auckland hater

I guess your job isnt selecting players for the future. Maybe thats why it baffles you?

Hmm, who to listen too - the ABs coaches with their history of success - or some salty Chiefs fan who feels hard done by and hasnt bothered watching any of the local footy this year?Tough one that, losing the cup must have been hard.

as a mum of a type 1 diabetic, it is absolutely awesome to see an all black with it! so inspirational for kids and teens with it to know that they really can do anything they put their mind to :) good on you Reuben!

McCaw had only eight minutes of super rugby under his belt when he was selected.

Pretty impressive to be playing top line rugby with type 1 Diabetes.

I remember when a young fella named McCaw got named in the All Blacks end of year tour, straight of the NPC with no super Rugby experience, there were people saying similar things. That turned out ok.

It was Aiden Ross not Jeff Thwaites who was on the AB radar before breaking his ankle. He is currently still out of rugby recovering from his injury.

How are they supposed to develop talent without testing them at international level? The All Blacks have alway taken players with potential on tour to see how they work in the All Black environment. Its fairly simple, but maybe too simple for you to comprehend.

stop your crying, you aint the coach for a reason so be quiet and enjoy the ride.

Hadnt even heard of him until he was selected yesterday. Will be interesting to see how he goes.

Who really cares? Its about the future and all roads lead to next yrs cup. Briing it on and in Shag we all entrust

As a ardent Hurricanes supporter, one would think we need a couple of this array of props and locks within the 51-strong ABs squad. But when I look at the up and comers within the front five and.within the Hurricanes franchise area, I see some room for optimism.

Absolutely. Surely ONeill will be contracted by the Hurricanes if he performs well for the All Blacks.

Read somewhere that Bristol is looking at Kaino to replace Steven Luatua who is on his way back to NZ at end of season - to try and regain his AB spot ahead of next years RWC.?

Another prop like lomax who was part of a pack dominated by the Auckland scrum which has the top performing tighthead anchoring it and which is the top performing scrum in the comp. Most turnovers, most metres gained. what if...

Im hearing you Tom Shelby. Perhaps the picking of Tuukinafe ( spell check!!) would have to be viewed as a success however...similar circumstances.
