I used to love the facades in High Street before the quake. Will never be the same unfortunately.Hope this restoration goes ahead.

I know some people gripe, but I am happy council has chipped into these heritage buildings to assist developers to hold onto them. Keeps threads of the past for the future.

shaun stockman makes a great jobb on all his projects im sure he will do this building justice

Would be so good to see progress on this block. Will connect the innovation precinct (I forget the new name?) back into the central city.

Absolutely delighted that the restoration work is beginning at last. High Street was such a gem and needs to be restored to how it was as much as possible. Would have preferred that the Victoria Black building around the facade be a traditional style rather than modern but the proposed style is better than being completely modern.

Very impressed with what they are doing with the Cotters building. They have already moved the old containers off the road and replaced with better looking ones. I know they have only started but the site is a lot tidier now. Well done.

Nice to see some of the old architecture being saved...but how many more cafes do we need!
