Well done Simon. High end Parnell wine house and art gallery will give you significant insight into real nz. What they are only getting 100k for their latest Hooters? Good you focussed on critical industries
Sorry Simon, but I have to disagree with this business confidence who ha!! I have never been busier, with commercial work, rural, and domestic. The biggest issue, and always seems to be when national are in, I cant get any trainees, to keep my business going. One year of Labour, I have 3 new apprentices? Infrastructure companies are flat out, which is the real trickle down?
For the sake of NZ keep Nat out - the last 9 years of doing nothing but exploit working people and building expensive roads everywhere has damaged this country very much.
National, with big business leaders, want to actively undermine confidence in this govt, so the blue team can have the big chair back. US republican style politics. Proves that they dont have the best interests of mainstream NZers at heart, only themselves and their select few mates. No charisma amongst any of them, a bunch of unattractive wishy-washy archetypes. Even Winston has more charisma than shimple Shimon. Stop that rabble from being govt for a long time.
If Simon Bridges is going to run with the flawed neo-liberalism economic policies based on 3 yearly planning, where the rich gets richer and the low paid struggling with day to day living and not factoring in increasing climate change, technology advancement, global and economic uncertainty and the looming GFC looming on the horizon, then his head is in the sand. Simon Bridges needs to come up with a long term UBI, non neo-liberal based economic strategy that factors in climate change, technology advancement, global and economic uncertainty and the looming GFC that is equivalent or better then what the COL is working on.
Hes looking very tired. Not so sure this job is very good for him.
And this is the man who talks down the business confidence while raking in thousands of dollars from the tax payers on travel. Thats why many of his supporters doesnt have any confidence in him as the leader. Watch your bag Simon, Crushers after your job.
I like Simon as leader of the opposition. He is um, convincing, likable and compassionate...Long live Simon as leader of the opposition.Bringing strong centre right leadership to the opposition for many years to come...And Simon, about rooting out those nasty dirty politics, back stabbing nutters in your caucus, good luck with that!
Simon is Chicken Little crying that the sky will fall again. There he was in Remuera visiting hard up SMEs whos local customers couldnt afford that extra glass of champagne because the froth has gone out of Auckland property speculation and the rent-seeking from citizenship to foreign students with dodgy business diplomas from NZ tertiary schools run by the Begal Boys.Wake up Simon! Camelot can take care of itself. If you want to make yourself useful turn your attention to improving the lives of ordinary hardworking kiwis.
National - find a charismatic leader, now! Bridges is not PM material, and cannot flutter his eyelashes to get elected. He a dead fish in the polluted water and doesnt know it. Get out and find a decent leader with new ideas for getting this country right again. Dump all the National front benchers, theyre past their use-by date too.
And he starting to look chubby
The huge 277 mall in Newmarket has closed for refurbishment and also the Farmers. Neither will open till 2021. A lot of shoppers now go elsewhere because of this. Thats why Newmarket has slowed down. It also has too many cafes and eateries competing with each other.
Regardless of all his boring rhetoric and criticism Simon Bridges wont be leading National into the next general election.
Why do you Gnats keep banging on about business confidence?Even when businesses are rolling in it because the Coalition has improved the lot of the low paid and they have more money to spend, you Gnats will still be banging on about low business confidence.
Please dont knock Simon Bridges, I want him to stay in that job as long as possible ;-)
Why is he talking to small business now it should have been an ongoing thing over there three terms.
Simon needs to stop crown prosecuting everything the government is doing because he is missing the bus on where National are heading.
Help, hes so much better than that Key chap. what a disaster he was!!!!
Simon, for the sake of the Nats & NZ come the next election, please step aside. Nothing personal, but you are not the right guy to defeat the Col Govt.
