If you think winning all of the time is boring try losing.

Have to agree watching the ABs play at present is certainly joyous !

I remember being a kid and wondering if we would ever get the Bledisloe back off aussie... then we did. I remember 2007 sitting stunned and misty eyed in front of my tv wondering if wed ever hear the end of yea but they cant win a world cup and then we did... twice... I remember after 2015 screaming my lungs out for Beaudies last try thinking we are the luckiest Rugby fans in the world and the whisper of a 3peat floated around the room. Now we stand on the brink of greatness again, looking as strong as we ever had with our new stars already breaking records of the old. I for one will be cheering louder than ever for the ABs because they have well and truly earned it.Go the ABs!

Yep, faster than an English ref can look the other way.

I think in essence, how the All Blacks have embraced winning and success, is now the corner stone to what drives them to perfection. Not out of arrogance or greed, but more out of a willingness to be better and evolve. They bring humility and know how to be always humble in the face of all other things. They are human after all, but there core values are now entrenched in a system that will take others a long time to replicate.

Havent they won their first 5 games of the season?

Ted and Hanson march to their own plans and ignore public opinion/media hype, knowing that winning only matters in the long run. If youve created a long term plan, stick to it and accept some speed bumps along the way. Always up the standards of fitness, help your players improve their skills and dont just rely on your stars. Keep looking for the next generation and get them ready, thats why the bench is good, and the players in the wider group arent shabby either. We are in a golden age because we have coaches with vision that arent just satisfied with the now, but look forward to creating environment for a golden age for tomorrow, next year.......

And yet you still read about them and comment? You are the sad sack, misery guts Gifford mentioned. Cheer up and have a nice day

Its hard to be the top team and win the World Cup. Any team that plays the ABs will always bring their best game, they will be psyched and up for it, the ABs have to bring their best game every time. While they may be the best team, this might not make it easier. So lets not get ahead of ourselves. As another who has lived through times when teams such as Australia dominated us, when we had never won a test series in SA (whatever the reason) these are halcyon times lets enjoy them, they will not last forever.

No, npc has suffered because nobody turns up to watch. It always amuses me when people say the grassroots game is being killed by NZR but they never go along to actually watch the npc or club rugby. They always cry about Tests and Super rugby not being on in the afternoon, but never bother to go to an NPC game in the afternoon.Just a bunch of whingers.

For me, watching the All Blacks dominate other teams never gets boring. However, I would love some of the other Rugby nations to up their game and make more of a contest of tests.

I think your definition of a few and mine may be different.

And the fanbase is all the better for it.

Point of the article (not worry about World Cup, enjoy the now) â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”->â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”>â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”- you

Good article. Its absolutely correct that we should sit back and enjoy the sublime array of skills that are on display and allowed to flourish under this particular coaching set up. RWC is really the coaches problem at this stage but its easy to see that right now theyre completely on top of it. Theres a lot of credit to the decision to reappoint G Henry and co. in 2007. ABs have had a continuity denied other nations. Much has fallen into place such as the emergence of several marquee players but the ABs have also developed an extraordinary bench capacity and are streets ahead of other nations for the last 20-30 minutes of tests. As for the negativity that seems prevalent despite the power and artistry on display, thats probably a good thing ultimately. Theres little chance of the ABs developing an England style of hubris once they string a few results together. It adds to the constant focus on improvement that seems to be within the AB camp.

a few wins? yeah right

96... Remember Athletic Park in the weather? Freshly showered after the game and speaking to guests of a sponsor, the wonderful John Eales started with, âwell if it wasnt for the rain and the mud and the wind...â, when a wag in the audience interjected, âwe would have beaten you by another 40 points!â.When the appreciation quietened down Eales, said, âyeah, youre probably rightâ. Worth watching that game again on YouTube, 1st bonus point try, Zinnie on fire, Jonah down in the mud beating the Wallabies to the ball, and so many more highlights. 1996 Athletic Park.

Dude. Tone it down. No AB fan in his right mind believes its in the bag.
