Elvis a hit, Warriors top dogs - what was it like when Australia last won Bledisloe Cup?

When Australia last won the Bledisloe Cup, William Webb Ellis was the leading ball carrier!

That explains your lack of rugby knowledge. Now it makes sense!

And the same year as the Tall Blacks basketball world championship run.

Im feeling confident, especially being Sam Whitelocks 100th Test, the pack will want to perform for him and taking into account the front row should all be Crusaders with Retallick fit and raring to go I cannot see the Aussies footing it with the forwards not with the Mana that Whitelock has in the team. Read will want a big game as hes just hitting match fitness and Cane is fit again. If the forwards take care of business up front they will smack them by 30! Im confident because there are a lot of questions over Barrett and he will have a big influence on this game, Reiko is keen again away from the toxic Blues environment and DMac off the bench will take things up a level. If you look at this ABs side, a lot of the players are fresh and 3 or 4 games back from injury, so they are amped to have a drink from the Bledisloe.I cannot see the ABs losing this game, maybe the next one but this has a lot riding on it, Whitelocks hundy; Barretts form; Franks & Moody fresh and competition in the back 3 all point to a dominant win for the ABs.

Good luck with the test. All Blacks are anawesome team, Im an Aussie but really think the all blacks are the real deal.our guys a bit ordinary in Rugby at least. I reckon 35- 12 all blacks win.

I think you mean â˜youre. Im not English, just bored of listening to the same old arrogant, pommie/Aussie bashing rubbish that comes out here.

Your just jealous because of your English team made up of imports could only dream of such success!

Valid points mate up till the last - maybe the next one? Eden Park? That is one place I think they will struggle with for some time, even if they get their hands on the silverware. My one caveat is the work the Wallabies have been doing with Mick Byrne, their confidence and the improvements in their forwards. If they get some parity Genia/Foley/Beale could make a difference...

All sporting rivals are cyclical and this reign will be broken... at some stage. The current Bledisloe arrangement has the Wallabies having 2 games at homeWe make ourselves look more arrogant than the keyboard heroes with pieces trumpeting our greatness and this only aggravates Stephen Jones and the like to scrawl their bile.Personally I loved the edge of your seat Bledisloe contests during the mid-eighties through the mid-90s. My favourite was the wet-weather clinic at Athletic Park in 1966 but the reality is that while that was a thrashing those contests were much closer. We actually need Australian Rugby to regain some of its strength and I would much prefer we let them have the stage for this sort of stuff, rather than putting the boot in ourselves.

Simply, the north is full of teams that are made up of former super rugby players who are looking to top up their retirement funds. I.e, the north is full of players who are passed their best.

Its that famous Kiwi humbleness they keep insisting theyre known the world over for

And a lot of other countries such as Wales and Tonga.

Well Nuffy perhaps you should have researched your destination better, Union is kind of NZs default religion for many Kiwis hence we all tend to be experts with our own opinion on every topic on rugby, the ABs the opposition and what and who make NZ rugby dominant. Could I offer you this tip? Come Rugby season, dont read the sports pages, have your coffee at home and buy yourself a box of beer to go, sit at your kitchen table and savour your own estemable, warm and friendly company, result, no more boring Kiwis prattling on about NZs national sport. Fixed your predicament, you can thank me later...lol.

Im never going to get tired of beating Australia because its hilarious hahahahahaha

How do you know when they havent faced the best up north??

No I dont read them. I live here and read the local news. And when I say here, I mean here in general, on the streets, in the bars, same old tiresome waffle.
