Iconic? Are you being sarcastic? The Blazer was one of the most awful, unreliable GM clunkers to ever roll off the line, thats saying something based on GMs product history esp in the 90s and 2000s. There would be hardly any left in driveways because that pig Vortec engine often grenades itself with pretty low mileage, the horrendous vacuum actuated 4WD fails, the electrical fails. Iconic yes. For.the right reasons, no.

It is likely dosnt meet USA safety or emission standards. Heaps of vehicles that people in the USA want, but cant get, such as the legendary Toyota Hilux, and land cruiser 70...

To be fair, the original Blazer was an actual 4wd and not a remeruera tractor for soccer mums. Years ago now at uni. I would never have swapped my old s3 landrover for comfotable cars everyone else had. Guess which vechicle we used for fun and adventures....(Just need sum larger biceps for driving around town, and tough decision s to be made on hot but rainy days haha)

I drove across America a few years back in a Chevy Blazer. It was an awful car, suspension had no compression or rebound damping (read bouncy AF), engine was anemic, and interior was straight out of Rockford Files (which finished 23 years before I drove it). I have absolutely no doubt that I could have flipped it in a moose test. After driving one, theres no way Id buy an American vehicle. To think they want to bring it back because it has a lot of equity makes me laugh. Doesnt Hitler, Jared Fogle from subway and my current favourite Trump have loads of brand equity too? Hilarious.
Another yucky soft roader.Interesting that the Holden Trailblazer has not made its way to the USA yet like the Colorado has. Could be a bit of a market there of people who want a 4x4 SUV that is larger than a jeep.
